Alpha Blondy: Neues Album "Visions" + Verlosung!

Vier Jahre ist es mittlerweile her, dass wir neue Aufnahmen von Alpha Blondy zu Ohren bekommen haben. Nun, am 24.06.2011, kommt endlich Alphas neues Album "Visions" in die Läden und Download-Regale.

Der Mann, der die Elfenbeinküste auf die Reggae-Landkarte gebracht hat, tourte seit seinem letzten Album "Jah Victory" (2007) immer wieder mit seiner Band Solar System durch die Welt und machte auch bei uns halt.

Seiner nächster Deutschland-Auftritt wird am 02.07.2011 auf dem Summerjam sein, bei dem er vorraussichtlich auch sein neues Album bei uns vorstellen wird.

"Visions", Alpha Blondys neues 13-Track starkes Album, kommt als gewohnt politische, conscious Roots-Reggae Platte daher, mit kräftigen Bläsersounds und Alphas bekannter Sprachvielfalt.

Die Ideen für die Tracks sammelte der Musiker dabei unterwegs: "The musicians and I worked in my various hotel rooms as I own a mobile studio, a ‘rolling’ studio as I like to call it. Each time we stopped in a city we recorded a little more. Buenos Aires, Recife, Rio De Janeiro and Porto Alegre in Brazil, Zurich in Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Montpellier, Marseille...We poured the whole thing into a computer when we returned to Paris, and the musicians used it as a basis to play".
