Allgemein

Glaubwürdige und vielseitige Reggae-Rythmen, englische, deutsche und italienische Texte und eine extravagante Mischung von Musikern unterschiedlichster Herkunft und Mentalität: ein „gesunder Boden“ für diese Multi-Kulti Formation. Die Spannbreite lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig: alle Spielarten von Roots, Dancehall und Dub, die ihren Wiederklang in dem Sane Ground-typischen Soundgefüge finden.
Es werden keine Dogmen akzeptiert, daraus ergibt sich die Vielfalt an Stilen, Stimmungen und Grooves, die leidenschaftlich und mit fundierter Live-Erfahrung in verschiedenen Sprachen präsentiert werden. Kraftvoll und bestimmt, geprägt von einem positiven und toleranten Lebensgefühl, bringt die achtköpfige Band einen erfrischenden, abwechslungsreichen und originellen Flow zu Gehör, der die drei „voices-of-Sane-Ground“ (Big Daddy Dave, Reeknow und Jazzy) seit 2006 auf einen „gesunden Boden“ stellt.

Die Crew

Big Daddy Dave: Wuchtig und Stark auf der Bühne, geboren in Jamaica und seine eigene Referenz, schrieb schon Songs für Coca-Cola und teilte die Bühne mit anderen Größen wie Daddy Freddy.

Reeknow: Sizilianischer Musiker-Spross, früh vom Reggae inspiriert und heute mit einem eigenem Style vom Roots Reggae bis zum Dancehall-Chatter, sattelfest in diversen Sprachen.

Jazzy: Begeisterte Musikerin mit klassischer Orchester-Ausbildung, rundet den Sound mit Backing Vocals ab und brilliert auch Solo.
-Vocals-

Rolo: Begleitete schon Mono & Nikitaman, spielte auf dem Summer Jam, Splash oder Karneval der Kulturen in Berlin. Supports für Macka B, Glen Washington, Lucky Dube und viele mehr.
-Bass und Bandleader-

Pete: Sein Feeling für Reggae-Vibes und seine individuellen Picking-Sounds und Soli sorgen für abwechslungsreiche Gitarrenklänge und Hooklines.
-Gitarre-

Martin: Vollblutmusiker mit jeder Menge Reggae Banderfahrung, sorgt für groovige bobbles und Riddims in Reinkultur.
-Keyboard-

Fab Fabian:Verbrachte seine Jugend in Tobago und ist die Groove-Maschine schlechthin. Er spielte bereits in verschiedenen Reggae Bands und glänzt in allen Stil Arten von Reggae- und Dancehallrythmen.
-Drums-

Niky: Halbargentinier, studierte Percussion in Santiago de Cuba mit Diplomabschluss. Nach einjährigem Aufenthalt in Barcelona mit erfolgreicher Zusammenarbeit mit namenhaften Salsa-Orchestern betreibt er seine Conga Academy in Düsseldorf.

Plausible and many-sided Reggae-grooves, English, German and Italian lyrics and an extravagant mixture of musicians of the most different origin and mentality: a " healthy ground " for this multicultural formation. The instep width leaves much to be desired nothing: all variants of Roots Reggae, Dancehall and Dub which find their resound in the sound structure Typical for Sane Ground.
No dogmas are accepted, the variety arises from it in styles, moods and Grooves which are presented passionately and with live-experience into different languages. Powerfully and certainly, stamped by a positive and tolerant attitude to life, the 8-headed crew brings a refreshing, diverse and original Flow to hearing, that gives the three "voices-of-Sane-Ground" (Big Daddy Dave, Reeknow and Jazzy) a " healthy ground " since 2006.

The Crew

Big Daddy Dave: Massive and Strongly on the stage, born in Jamaica and his own reference, he already wrote songs for Coca Cola and divided the stage by other big artists like Daddy Freddy.

Reeknow: Sicilian musician's sprout, early inspired by reggae vibes and today with his own style of the Roots reggae up to the Dancehall-Chatting, saddle-firmly into various languages.

Jazzy: Eager musician with classical orchestra education, rounds the sound with Backing Vocals and also impresses in lead-vocals.
-vocals-

Rolo: Already accompanied Mono and Nikitaman, played on Summer Jam, Splash or carnival of the cultures in Berlin. Supports for Macka B, Glen Washington, Lucky Dube and many more.
-bass and bandleader-

Pete: His feeling for Reggae-Vibes and his individual picking sounds and solos provide for diverse guitar sounds and Hooklines.
-guitar-

Martin: Full blood musician with a lot of reggae band experience (B2, Jancanoo, Bronca etc.), provides for groovy bobbles and Riddims of the pure culture.
-keys-

Fab Fabian: He spent his youth in Tobago and is the groove-machine par excellence. He already played in different reggae crews and polishes kinds of reggae and Dancehall grooves in all style.
-drums-

Niky: Half Argentine, studied Percussion in Santiago de Cuba with certificate end. After one-year-stay in Barcelona with successful collaboration with famous salsa orchestras he pursues his Conga Academy in Dusseldorf.
