Originally derived in 1993 from High-School Project in Hamburg, as pure percussion ensemble (Samba-Group) Sambodromo is a experiment of all kinds of influences and Styles: A stage-based Band that everything want to mix with Afro-Brazilians and Orientals Rhythms: Latin, Hip Hop, Rock, Reggae, Ska, Elektronik: Songs for everyone. Voices, Guitars, Bass, Drumset, Flutes, Sax, Keyboards and Samplers are used to enhance the solid foundation of forceful grooves, played live by experienced drummers on a great range of traditional percusions instruments.
With a amazing number of Shows the last 13 Years, the Band grew musically and release the "Abfahrt" Album, one Remix Cd, and made some Video Clips. (see:www.sambodromo.com) New Album at Work.
