Joyful Noise Soundsystem

Since 2005 the Crew is known as "Jahsen Youths Sound" for organizing Reggae- & Dub-Events and playing Conscious Reggae Music. In 2010 the original team expanded through Selectress Souljah Lioness and after some time of rebuilding – in Oktober 2011 – they faced a rebirth as „Joyful Noise Soundsystem“.

From the first steps they were always enthusiastic for the „Messenger-Sounds“, which are able to create a strong and fruitful vibe. For this reason it was only a matter of time until they finally came across the great Soundsystem-Culture of the Roots-Reggae and UK-Dub.

After studying the national and international Reggae-Scene intensivly for some years and having some strong musical and spiritual experiences with the music they came to the conclusion that playing in the original soundsystem-style is the best way for them to send the message of Roots-Reggae to the world.

Over the years they were blessed to welcome many guests of whom each one brought his/her special touch and enriched the local massive culturally.

Theyr motivation to organize „Edu-tainments“ is based on the conviction of the principles of Word, Sound and Power which includes that we want to use our soundsystem to bring serious social and spiritual topics to the dancehall and moreover as an instrument to make a joyful noise unto the Almighty.

Besides the main crew consisting of LilZe (Selecta, MC,...), Souljah Lioness (Selectress,...) and Melodiemann (MC, Selecta,...) the Joyful Noise Family consists of many helping hands and hearts who support the project mentaly, spiritualy and physicaly.
