IBK Tribe started out in 1996 as a HipHop act with a quite different lineup. Since 2002 IBK Tribe has found it's form and unique style, a blend of Reggae, Dancehall, Soul and HipHop with lyrics in German, English, Patois and Tyrolean (a sort of gutteral Austrian Farmer's Dialect).

The Band consists of Sensay, who takes care of songwriting and production and melodic vocals, and Jamin, a songwriter,producer,Deejay and Rapper with a rough, rhythmic tone.

Over the Years IBK Tribe have been featured on dozens of Samplers, Albums and Mixtapes and have built up a reputation as breathtaking live-performers. The complete absence of an own album or homepage has created a bit of a mysterious hype around the band's doings. This was never intended, more the natural result of being a little laid-back. But the unthinkable now seems to be in close reach: After 10 years of colourful band history IBK Tribe have decided to release their Debut-Album. "Sound" will feature past hitsingles, as well as brand-new material and will hit the German-speaking market in September 2006.
