Bionicsoundsystem

Bionicsoundsystem was founded back in 1998 by two friends: Selectah Inspectah and Selectah Casino. Inspectah started spinning Hip Hop at the age of 16 influenced by a good friend: Dj Flummox (Phongolicious Crew). Influenced by Sentinel mixtapes, Raggasonic and Macka B ,to name a few, he turned to Reggae and Dancehall.

Casino and inspectah started spinning and performing at local partys and clubs. A couple of month later saki zulu became a member of Bionic. Saki zulu himself was doing straight hip hop and producing beats since i know him. but he was interested in reggae too. acouple of years later in 2003 inspectah decided to move to Australia for one year. That was the time when bennirie became a member of bionic he did music since ever although it was punkrock. While inspectah was in australia the bioniccrew kept spinning, producing and performing at different events.

Inspectah came back in 2004 and the crew was reunited. The first official mixtape was released "Tha coming.......". saki zulu and bennirie started to build their own live band "Zion rocket Orchestra" which plays Roots Reggae but their still performing with bionicsoundsystem. A couple of month later the second mixtape was released "Why I Love Tha Pum Pum....." which featured dubs from a lot of European Artists. The Bionics kept spinning at different Partys and local events. And now in 2008 the next Mixtape "how we do...." with a few very special Dubplates will be released.
