BALDREAD SOUND CREW : finest tunes, nicest vibe!

Back in the days of 1999, KNS and DA VOSSLA started to think about founding a strong, fresh and versatile SOUNDSYSTEM to give the budding south-western reggae community more words, more power and most of all : more sound!

In the beginning BALDREAD SOUND was invited to open up drum & bass events like PHUTURISTIC , CIRCLES and used to be a member of the BASSMENT-SOCIETY artist crew.

In 2001 Da VOSSLA decieded to split up and leave BALDREAD SOUND, but along came EL BENSON and TINKERMAN, two great selectors seeking for a SOUNDSYSTEM to join in.

Since that very day the BALDREAD SOUND CREW burned down clubs like the BLUE MARLIN, RED CAT, KASEMATTE, SCHLACHTHOF, played in towns like MAINZ, MANNHEIM, LUDWIGSHAFEN, WIESBADEN and supported artists like NOSLIW, MONO & NIKITAMAN, WONDA PRINCE just to name a few.

In 2005 MR.TOM completed BALDREAD SOUND and helped the rest of the crew to push things forward!

Travelling to the motherland of DANCEHALLMUSIC and ROOTSROCK became a must and so BALDREAD SOUND stepped in a plane and took the flight "down a yard" different times, to voice dubplates with SINGERS and DEEJAYS like NINJA MAN, GREGORY ISAACS, RED RAT and JUNIOR MURVIN....the list is long!

So if you hear that BALDREAD SOUND is hittin up your town, you better make sure to be there, because they play THE FINEST TUNES and spread THE NICEST VIBE!
