Ares & the Tribe - the international group which plays roots reggae! The origins of the band are connected to the record "Great Awakening" from 2002 which included the smash hit "Crazy Summer" and "Opa" whose first bars gave the beginning to the most popular song "MeleoRR - Reggaemova".

When the Greek frontman of the band, Jah Ares "Hatzi" came back from the USA and the Ariston Roots Reggae Studio was established, a boom in performing records took place. The maxisingle "Jah Bless" and the record "Great Return" (2007) were brought out. The second performance contributed rich dubs and it landed in the trade magazine Free Colours plebiscite as the best reggae record of the year!

The music of the Ares & the Tribe is deeply rooted in Rastafari ideology which proclaims the idea of "Unite Jah Children - One Love". The band preformed before Misty in Roots (in Ostroda), African Head Charge (Africa, Torun (Poland)) and Mad Professor (Greece). The third record "JahJah Children 2008" will be performed this spring.
